hi,

thanks for the reply.

ill prob go for the 8 groove, as its just a road car with very, very occasionally driver training, and will be the odd track day but prob not till next year, have to get use to the type r first!!!

The purpose of the drilling is to assist in cooling, but as NITRAC discs run cooler anyway, there is little advantage, and all our race customers go for the grooved variety. If you only do the occasional track day, then really it is a matter of personal preference, as it would be extremely difficult to detect any difference in performance outside a race track! As to the number of grooves, generally speaking endurance racers go for 8 grooves, and the short track racers go for 16, so I think you can draw your own conclusions from that!! Sorry it is so long but I hope that helps

Only need 3 more now for a 15% saving, 4 more for a 20% saving!

Come on peeps, get your names down here

Unfortunatly, the MLR wont be joining us, as their moderators are even more draconian than scoobynets and will only allow gb's from authorised advertisers, which is a great pity.
However, if you do frequent that board at all, there's nothing stopping you pointing them in the direction of this thread, and reminding them that Nitrac do discs and pads for their brembo setups too!

Would it be worth maybe extending the offer another month? With Nitracs permission of course.

Maybe we could get some more takers if we do. I'll be getting mine at the end of this month regardless, and a big write up and pictures will follow, so hopefully that will generate some extra sales

Dear all,
Sorry I have not responded to the last couple of posts. For some reason I am not getting e-mail notification. We now have 8 sets of discs requested, and we only have 3 days to go! Any chance of getting any more buyers? I do not want to extend the offer by another month, however, if all the potential buyers of 8 discs confirm their purchases (which means paying for them!) by this Thursday noon, I will go mad and give the 20% discount, and the discs would be despatched by the 5th September for delivery on the 6th. Does that sound acceptable to everyone?

that sounds good to me ... we havent heard much from the other people in the GB but I assume they are all keeping an eye on this? Could everyone confirm if they will be able to pay for their disks by thursday?

Could Nothing B confirm what model impreza the rear disks are for and what style he wants?

and finally if cryojock or cw42 could calculate everyones totals that would be good.

Thanks again,
Gaz

OK, I've just spoken to Alan at Nitrac on 01625 267074 to arrange payment, once he's had sufficient calls then it can all go ahead at the new 20% discount level - I said I'd post here to prompt everyone to ring in.
Cheers,
Rich.

I spoke to Alan earlier today aswell and have recieved an invoice for the disks and a google checkout payment option, his computer is on the blink and he would like you to ring him to confirm what disks you want and to provide an e-mail address so he can send the invoice and google checkout bill.

I have also PM'd alot of the people who put their names down to get them to see the new discount if they havent already.

Thanks
Gaz

Really sorry to hear that, hope you are in better shape than the car. Maybe you can get some NITRAC discs when you get your next one!
