gutted for you.. know exactly how you feel! My STi was stolen over a month ago and not a peep.. life's a bitch! I'd rather not say what I think of the people who took my car.

Mate, i wouldn`t worry. When the thieving scum realise that they havn`t nicked a performance car and its just an Evo you will probably find it parked back on the drive with the keys pushed through the letter box

Seriously though, its not nice whats happened but at least its insured and you can go out and buy a nice impreza so every bad story has a happy ending.

He`s probably fed up of the same style of replies saying "i feel for you mate" etc, nothing wrong with some light hearted banter as he won`t get his car park with people saying i feel for you etc. We all know its probably long gone, his car is insured so he can now look forward to a new motor.

Too true. We all know he doesn't want it back and who would after some ****** has had it It's better if it stays missing even though it was lovely

Lee (Mass) phoned today to tell me his car has been found within a mile of his house. The only damage appears to be a smashed window and the ignition barrel.

The Evo is currently with the police being checked, finger prints taken etc, but should be home safe and sound within a couple of days

Yep they've found it with little damage ! I'm waiting for the forensics to get back to me, to let me know when I can pick it up.

They called this morning, to say they found it, but the wierd thing is, he asked my if I'd been eating cereal in it! ...naturally I said "No?!?!" he said "have you played any card games?"..."Nope?!?! " He then said "We've found Bran Flakes! and a Noel Edmunds card game in it...so it's not yours?" "Nope?!?! "

I think the little ******* have been bl00dy shopping in it, or taken the kids out or something!!!

But anyway, I'll be getting an alarm and imobiliser fitted as soon as I get it back (Assuming the engine is ok, of course!) But I'm going to ask the fuzz if they've got any pics of it before, during and after the forensics team got hold of it...you never know, it might make a good car mag artical!

 

kind of off topic, reminds me when my old Cav SRI got nicked many moons ago,any damage i ask the garage that recovered it, no no, its o.k, cool.

when i got there, the whole thing had been battered with the baseball bat i had in the boot, mullered 110%,i said, WTF, u said no damage, ah, i thought it might of looked like this when it was nicked, the tw@t !!!!

anyhoo,get that alarm fitted as you say !!!

Great news this as he obviously cherished his car.

One question though, do the police now log this on the national computer as a stolen and recovered vehicle because if that was the case i wouldn`t want it back because of the loss of value to the car with it being a stolen/recovered.

IT'S F**KED!!!

The front splitted has been smashed off, the boost controller has been ripped off, the knock link and fan controller have gone, the interior is an absolute abortion, there is a very small but noticable dent/slight crease in the top sill from something like a screwdriver, carpets have been ripped up, the LCD screen is knackered, along with the controll box that tells me what the engine is doing........It's just a complete mess

Oh, and the forensics team that dusted the car for prints, were from the Flying Squad!!! Apparently the car was used for an abduction!!!

I'll post pics up later, of how the car looks now it may not look that bad from the pics, but trust me, it is
