Nah, TA isnt my thing at all.
Ive built the car as a fast road car that i can enjoy on the track. I want to do a few road trips around the country and europe in it when its done. If i were building a TA car then i would have started with a GC8 shell.

With that work manship/crafts manship i can't blame you for not wanting to risk it in competition
As for the road trips i was thinking about that the other day, getting home friday night, pack some clothes and the misses, then just keep driving until sunday afternoon then turn round and come home

To be honest Stu has hit the nail on the head. If it starts, runs, is reliable and works better than before then what more can i ask for?
Ive done all this by myself in a garage and on a driveway with zero help. Even taking the motor out i did alone.
Obviously i wont be mapping it so some help will be needed there. But on the whole, ive done my own block modifications, CNC'd cylinder heads to my own spec, with my own cc volumes, combustion chamber shape and my own compression ratio. Done all my own polishing/porting on the heads. All loom reworking. Designed brackets, ducts and all sorts of other tat that make this build a little more unique than others.
So if it actually works. I'll be extatic

Some quick snaps of my new extinguisher fitted.
Mounted on 4mm thick billet aluminium bar, its strong and light. Fits a treat. Huge thanks to Dave for sorting this. 100% recomended purchase

Top drawer service as usual from Alyn at AS Performance. 2 sets of plugs and some running in oil arrived today. Cheers Alyn

Just need to find some spare time to put the engine in now

Just fuel rails and injectors left to fit. Rails should be back this week. The new powdercoated manifold is so nice. Its almost 100% OEM finish and shade.
