You guys got any side shots of the cars, im worried like Fozzie said about the front looking too low in comparison to the skirts etc.

Theres nothin else out there for the Prodrive edition bumper. So ive had to go WRC emulating.

How deep are your lips guys? mine is cut at 3" at the mo.

Might whip 5mm off the bottom then dude. Might be just enough to take the edge off it.

At the risk of upsetting the flock I don't think it looks right, much prefer the prodrive underlip it has now. Looks too clumsy/awkward to go on Frayz's scoob

Ive cut another lip at 2.5"... I'll mock that up tomorrow and see how that looks.

I'll make a decision from there.

Heres one ive mocked up with a 2.5" cut. Its slightly shallower than the 3" one before.

What do you think?

Please bare in mind if i do fit this it will be rigid and straight its only on with gaffer tape at the mo. Its just a mock up as before

Frayz,

Hi mate, i'm probably missing something, but why?

I don't see that giving any advantage, and worse than that it looks out of sorts with the rest of the car.
You've done a cracking job with the front of the car fitting the IC, don't spoil it.

Frayz I think the problem might be that the bumper tucks in at the bottom (looking from the front ) Have a go at pushing it out and see what the skirt looks like then . (imo obviously )

Its nice to finally have a pad that really excells when you give it some stick and the harder i used them the better they got. They are a litty dirty on the rims, but this maybe just the initial bedding in. Eitherway i like em alot.

Need better rubber now as they find the linits of gip on the tyres quite quickly lol
I love my Pagids.... they do seem take an aweful lot of abuse and still deliver evry time...
Almost wonder if i should have gone 15's all round TBH

Not sure about the front splitter... going to be functional so would get my thumbs up for that, but isn't in keeping with the very clean look of the car.
So i guess it comes down to whether you really do plan to push it on track some day soon!

Yes i have purchased the last "BIG" bit of my engine build. The clutch.

Im currently walking around with a stride like John Wayne as ive just been bummed for a serious price tag.

Its an Exedy hyper twin plate...

If you too would like a "sore *** stride", get yours here, its about as cheap at they come.

The beginning of the end is indeed in sight mate. Its been a long while saving part by part.

However i have 10 weeks until WRC... do i wait till after or do i try and meet the deadline and take the 2.5 to WRC?

10 Weeks, yeh big *****, We know you can do it in 1!

that clutch is a serious bit of kit, looks like it might even survive a bit of track abuse.

The twin plate certainly takes a little more effort... I've found that it losens after a little while... Or maybe my left leg has just got bigger .

Its slightly different to the one in your car Ross. Apparantly its got a higher clamp load and is more user friendly.

Ask Zak for details but i know it was more expensive than the regular hyper twin plate Exedy make.

YVM- That old smoker i knocked up in a week... this is a proper engine ya know so i'll torque all the bolts up on this one

Matt- If you knew what WRC was like you'd realise hopw funny your statement sounds. Running in is certainly not possible on one of our outings im affraid.
