Ok, thats just teasing !! spent a good couple of laps trying my best to beat your previous time, had even downloaded the #10 in the world's setup - but that was slower than my own house mate noticed that i was flintching for the ghost cars slightly, so turned them off - and got a 55' time but another 0.75ish is gonna take a miracle ???? might try the wheel/pedals.... .... .. normally slower than the sticks of fury

When in the game, before you press 'A' to select the track, press 'Y' for the scoreboard, keep pressing 'X' until friends are listed, then select the ones with the paper clip symbol and you can download their ghost and car setup
I softened the springs to allow it to ride the curbs a bit better, seemed to do the trick

I know what you mean about the ghosts Andy, they can be very frustrating, especially when you can have 3 of them going around.
I still think it'll be beaten, I'm pretty much certain I don't want to try though. Too many laps, too frustraiting. Although I bet I could go faster with TCS on I don't want to try cause I'm happy with that no aids time.

well done Matt, very good time..! i've had to stop for sanity but will have another crack at it later, maybe try the springs you mentioned.
I think there is a 54.0 up for grabs from a flawless lap but its going to take some serious patience!

I refuse to have the Aids on Why do i do this too my self ??
Proberbly because i find i can get more consistancy with multiple laps, working away at breaking/turnin/clipin/apex points, also the car will slide in a predictive way each and every lap - either good or bad depending on moment. Just like i dislike TCS on real cars, ABS is good saftey thou.
Out of interest, what views do people use ? have to play the splitter cam view but not if its too low. Just dials and the track are all thats required.
Some mates use out of car, just find it confusing, kinda like an out of body experience !!

I bet RB5 will come back and just get a 53.9 straight out the box
Ben, I know what you mean. I just hope whoever wins picks a shortish track cause just how frustraiting will it be to be on a hot lap that's over 2 mins long only to f-up a corner, then have to regroup. Least with Mugello Short it's only a 55second lap so it has that "just one more lap" draw to it.
Andy, I use the splitter cam all the time (one with the dials in the centre and the rear view mirror). Chase cam views are for arcade games like PGR3 & Dirt

Well I tried this morning and could't do better than a 1:58 in about 5 laps of trying From what people have said here though looks like it needs more like 45 laps to get consistency and best lines. 4 seconds off the pace on such a short track is such a long way off its demoralising!

It's only practice.
Try it with all the aids on first so you don't come a cropper with sliding around and try and concentrate on improving on particular corners.
The S bends are always better (more controllable) if you go into the first one a little bit slower than you think you should, lets you get a good line through and out the 2nd of the corners and improves your speed down the straights.
I'm trying to advance my career but the 360 just keeps freezing now.
I think 100 laps of Mugello have killed it!

Arrrghhh!!! I`ve been trying too but managed to knock a few tenths off my best time and in doing so moved myself up the leaderboard. I tried various combination of on/off driver aids but just went slower. It`s a great challange but ever so frustrating and I`m getting RSI in my right wrist, good job MotoGP is on now to give me a break. My next effort will be later this afternoon when I`ll push myself to get into the 56`s

Was meant to have been picking up my Ducati Monster today, as you can imagine I'm pretty annoyed, I wouldn't mind so much if it was self inflicted

I'm a bit nervous about trying a lap now ... these times look so far in front of what I did in career mode it scares me
I'm never up in the top times for single lap times but I do have a knack of doing semi-fast times back to back to create a good career mode/online race time.
looking forward to some snet live races in the next couple of weeks
congrats on the amazing times

Ben with a time like 20th in the world I doubt any of us will beat it. If a few of us do we need to think about setting up our own race clan to take on VVV,TTR and the likes.
I've haven't seen TTR Maclaren F1 on the leaderboards yet ? he must be a PGR only guy.

That`s an awesome time Ben I shake my head `cause I just cant beleive how slow I am. I think I`ll let my wife have a go for me as she may well be faster. At the mo she doesn`t even know how to hold the controller, still I`m sure she may well show me up. No, I must be posative, I`ll do another stint this morning `cause I can see where I`m loosing tenths here and there and they all count.

Hi guys,
Improved my time to a 55.2 I think. Not gonna try anymore though as I want to get some more single player done.
Will spend some more time on next weeks challenge hopefully, and do some practice without the aids.
