Yeah looked at that but don't have a car good enough or the credits to buy anything good enough to win it! Hence looking in the auction house.

I think it must be in the TT's as I'm pretty sure I have it. I did all the exhibition/TT stuff first so I'm not very far into career mode.
I'll need to give this a go. ScoobyP1 if anyone wants to add me.
Edit: Maybe try it a bit later. I was nightshift lastnight and have had a few Kronenbourgs since I came in. I know that sounds a bit alchyish but to me it feels like it's 9 pm.

Hepy, I'll add you to my friends list later so we can see you on the scoreboard
I think the winner of this weeks challenge should consult with B2Z to make sure he's got the car

Have you got a favourite car/class yet?
I tend to stay away from anything above the S class. I much prefer C-A class racing, mainly because the general speeds are slower, thus if you make a mistake they're a lot more forgiving.

It's just sooo hard to string every sector together over a lap, I've been on a definite 54.something at least twice in the last 30 mins only to get over excited and run just wide on that last bloody bend

Hmm just goes to show that the pad is just as fast, if not faster than the wheel! But the wheel wins for fun and feel.

I do struggle with the corners at either end of the straight... very hard to get a smooth run round with out going to tight... hoping the wheel might help with that...

are you clipping the curbs much in the s bends? Seems to throw me into slight oversteer if I so much as touch them.

I'm really looking forward to getting home and giving this time a good attempt. Messiahs time is a stonker and to be top 500 in the leaderboard is something to be proud of given the amount of people who really try and put fast times down.
Two weeks away from home means a quick 5min with her indoors then the rest of the two weeks are free

Cheers guy's... it took a lot of patience..!!! just had a go at racing the ghost of the fastest time and it seems I lose almost a second to him on the last 2 corners..!! although they are in a different car, i'm curious to try the same car to see if there is any difference. Also realised you can download the tuning setup of someones ghost as well so my config is available for everyone to use... but this can be switched off... have to accept trying to improve after being at the pub is probably not a good idea..!!

Ed, agree with touching the curbs, have found that if you want to run over the curbs you have to not be on the power at all... otherwise you end up with the back end stepping out...

Tried posting last night but my connection buggered up.
That's one hell of a time Ben
Oh and Andy has beaten me as well
Thought it would be beat though, I could see where I was loosing time (bloody sliding through the 2nd S bend and the last corner!)
I might give it one last try but I get slower and slower as I get more and more frustrated with myself.

Couldn't have done it without downloading Bens ghost though. My previous fastest ghost was neck and neck through the whole lap until the last corner when I obviously (after seeing Bens Ghost) went wide.
Still think this lap time can be beaten though, I was behind both ghosts all the way round till the last 2 corners.

When in the game, before you press 'A' to select the track, press 'Y' for the scoreboard, keep pressing 'X' until friends are listed, then select the ones with the paper clip symbol and you can download their ghost and car setup
I softened the springs to allow it to ride the curbs a bit better, seemed to do the trick
