Sorry for diggin up an old post, but i was wondering if anyone could tell me what supporting mods are required to get this running on a classic uk turbo? I obviously would get mapping and a full decat, but are supporting mods for fuel pump, injectors, intercooler etc required? Or by being a hybrid turbo, are no additional upgrades required from what is recommending when mapping a std TD04 with a decat exhaust?
Youll need a Warlbro 255 fuel pump and un uprated fuel pressure regulator and possibly the next (440cc?) size up injectors, which are good for about 340bhp, or thereabouts. Persoanlly, Id be looking at a TD05 turbo (adapted for front entry), rather than a TD04 hybrid. Andy Forrests TD04s are brilliant, but better suited to New Age cars, in my opinion.
Its hard for anyone to tell you exactly what youll need without a little more information: the model year principally, along with any other modifications.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. The reason i was asking is because i was thinking about fully decatting my MY97 Ukturbo (currently just backbox and centre decat), and there is a hybrid TD04 going for a reasonable price atm on the for sale forums. I was wondering if it was worth doing if it required no additional supporting mods than the mapping without the hybrid turbo. If new injectors etc are also required then it may not be such a good idea.
