I am one race away from completing the class C races (in a clio V6). When i press "A" to start the last race nothing happens apart from a noise. anybody know what this could be?

 

You must have said you didn't want to continue the series at some point, only thing you can do now is start from race one, gutted for you.

Is it possible to move the car down when you are fully zoomed in on the editor as the top of the roof is missing and i find it harder having to rotate it and work upside down.

I spent 5-6 hours on it lastnight on a simple design, i'd hate to think how long the better looking more detailed designs are taking people.

 

took me around 2 hours to do the police car above, although now i have the vinal groups saved i have just made another 5/6 evos/22bs` etc etc with the same design in under an hour and put them up for auction at reasonable prices , i have just checked my cars and it seams the mario bros enzo i bought last night has not got a locked design?

so i can copy it and auction it off

already saved the design

 

i saw that enzo and had a bid.

do you just buy a car and stick the design on to sell for a profit?

Homer looks superb. great work. You need to put it on a car that looks as close to the one he drives as possible.

 

Is locking the design an option in the auction house ?

 

bob - yes, it asks if you if you want to lock your design as part of setting up the auction.

 

How do i apply custom designs to other cars, i've saved the designs to the catalog and gone back to my garage to select a different car and when i enter the catalog again it says no designs available for your car?

You have to create Vinyl groups mate (from within the design area), rather than save to a design catalog. Design Catalogues only allow you to apply that design to the same model of car.
When you're in the Design Centre, press the left stick and it brings up the advanced options, choose "add/remove layer to selection", then keep moving across selecting all the layers that make up that particular logo/design, then just press 'A' without the left stick depressed and choose "Create New Vinyl Group".

I think there might be an option to select all layers as well.

has anyone reached level 50 yet? finding this a right bastid is hiring a driver to do endurance races the key. currently level 28 and and getting fed up playing the same race over and over again

 

I'm level 42 and haven't hired a driver yet. I play on hard with only ABS on so I get lots of credits from clean racing

I will start credit whoring using the 55% driver on the endurance races when I'm finished the career

have a break from the game, i was the same, i now alternate between forza and gears of war to help break things up

i normally hire a driver for the american races and i hate the big stupid muscle cars, endurance races can be made "fun" if you have a nice car with 4wd, just drift around the track
