Sorry, The Bug was just wrong in the styling. The Blob is the car that the bug should have been really.

I think they bought the 03/04 out too early as a consequence and therefore the 05 cars took some of the features meant for the 06/07 cars.

Desirability is really by age.

in my family we've had...

i currently have a 2006 (Hawkeye) STI. and my dads had a 2003 (Blob) STI, a 1999 Classic saloon turbo and a 1996 classic estate turbo...

i love the classics most.. especially the 22B... but they are EVERYWHERE and are starting to look dated now.. and that puts me off them... the only one i would even consider gettin is a 22B.

out of the new age imprezas i definetely prefer the hawkeye (even though i hated it when i first saw it).. i dont like the look of it out of the box though, needs the front lip, 18" wheels and lowerings springs! the blob is too bulbus at the front i think and the bug is just ugly...

 

The ugly one is usually the dirtiest in bed 🤣
