If so, I might go down the road a bit and maybe run the first tank.

yes it can mate....but for some reason, even though a savage the uprated performance engine is throwing out so much power it just shreds cogs, whether plastic or metal.
Im now going to have to upgrade the clutch housing, as the metal gear on it is to soft.

thanx for the advice mate...but this is the racing one i'm talking about its has lost wheight and is mostly titanium.......just can't figure out what to do...was working fine until i had it tunned, then lost spur gear after spur gear
will have to take it to heaths next week.

Sounds to me like the chassis isnt braced on the upper deck enough and the power is causing the chassis to flex. This flex is causing the gear mesh to become too great and the resultant gap in the mesh is causing it to eat gears.
Id check your meshing first. To set your mesh correctly, use a strip of paper between the gears. A piece of paper is approx 0.1mm thick and will be an ideal mesh clearance.
Bring it over one night and id be happy to look for you

john, i was reading somewhere that you can adjust the slipper clutch to give more slip. this helps with the stresses put on drive gears...
see if you hae an adjusting sprung screw on the end of the gear wheel... anticlockwise turns gives more slip...
hope this helps a bit mate
