Mrs ESC & I will meet you all down the prom a little later ( Need to wait for Karen to get in from work first )

If it is to be called off ( weather ) Then i think a decision has to be made early tommorow as there are a couple on the list who are not local & i would not want to see them make a wasted journey

The ESC Marquee is @ JAE as well , so no portable shelter this time

Does anyone know a thing or two about the Spektrum R/C gear? having a nightmare trying to set it up, the problem I'm having is that I've now got a reverse module, and I can't get it right, you go forward full throttle and the servo disengages the drive from the reverse!

I've also put on a twin vented disk conversion, and it's so good, the ar$e end over takes the front, well, it goes over the front!!!!

Default Bright & Sunny here ...

Looks like the " Northern Monkey " Was correct

It's Bright & Sunny over here & a little breezy ( Will be flying my kite )

An idea ...

To Save John the trip out here ( To collect BBQ ) Why dont we knock the bbq on the head ?

It's enough hassle with all the RC Stuff let alone the bbq as well

There are lots & lots of food places @ the prom & a great fish & chip shop opp the prom , So wew wont go hungry

Those who want to return here ( ESC HQ ) Later are more than welcome bring ya cossies for a " Hot tub session " Then we can shoot back down later for Lady fozzy's birthday meal in the evening

Like i said just an idea , I Will go with the flow whatever

I popped down and they all looked like they were having fun, a seperate area in the park all coned off and people busy in the pits.

Frayz pushed his beyond the limit and ended up flying his kite. When I left Fozzy was whipping Tiny and the ESC ladies were showing their support by sitting in chairs reading books

superb day, rounded off by a spendid chinese buffet, then after the dinner bell, a game of speed bowling.... (which is just like normal bowling exept the rule is to " ignore the pins, let's see who can bowl the fastest")

resulting in "sausage fingers" himself adopting a completely unorthodox technique, which shall we say, had he got it slightly wrong, would have resulted in a bowling ball appearing on the US AWACS system!!!!

power kite flying is highly recommended and look out for further r/c meets if you fancy a go!!!

roll on the next one!!!

dazza

Was a good day, though the last straw has come and the SaLvage is going.

I'm just fed up with tweaking the damn thing everytime I want to play, don't get me wrong, I love tinkering, but it's getting beyond a joke.

Hate to admit it, but Frayz and Fozzy are right in that John and I spend around 90% of the time fuffing around with the trucks and 10% running, it's not much fun anymore.

The Savage is a good strong truck, but it's as reliable as the UK weather.

Time to move on

I'm Glad so many turned up

Great day , was fun watching the boys having a few races lol.

Not so good for Cornelius and Myself.. we have now given the Savages back to the Salvage yard, and are in the process of ordering our new trucks

This time it will be no knee crunching, nail bitting disasters...just pure fun like the rest of the guys.

Savages Suck

Roll on next event which i have 2 locations lined up, which i know you will be pleased about

Thanks to the ESC Ladies for being so damn patient lmao.

Sorry i couldn't make the meal as i had to take the girls back home.
