What in the name of Liberacé's greased candelabrum are you wittering on about? At no point does the style of music of the Arctic Monkeys and the Jam coincide. They are utterly, completely different in style, subject material, social background, political awareness, rhythmical interpretation.... in short, they're ****-all like each other.
In fact, tell me the grounds by which you accuse them of being a weak Jam copy, and I'll refute each point completely.

Is that because both bands played guitars or is it because as you mentioned in your 'Vision' thread that they play bar chords.....hence are crap in your opinion

Just try and actually listen to an Arctic Monkeys album, open your tiny little mind and just see how you get on.
On the other hand...if the dismal cover of Pretty Green on 'Vision' is what you call acceptable then maybe you should start with the Jam first...
