Coincidentally, Listers informed me that they had arrived around the time you posted.

Funny how they all seem to have turned up despite dealers being given no idea when they might arrive as recently as Monday this week.

Just got to put them on.........Now where did I leave the welding gear?

 

Mike Wood, whilst we are on the subject of wheels please can you tell me why two of my 18" rims came with unsatisfactory paint finish around the bolt holes and why the other 2 look like the paint will also start to bubble in a few months in the same area?. Are they still painted at OZ and how many other wheels have you had returned for this same reason?

For 500 notes a corner is this acceptable?

Sorry to seem stupid guys, but are these just for the front wheels or do they go behind the back wheels as well?

Also what sort of size are they?, I've looked at the ones on the GGR site but can't fathom it from that.

You only really need them for the fronts, as the spray will chip the lower doors. However, if they also fit the back? you can put them on to protect your rear bumper if desired.

i have just purchased a set of this wicked little Stone Guards from the remarkable Roger at Wilsons, Chadwell Heath.

They cost £9.95inc. VAT each.

There made of a very flexy rubber and fit by the use of two existing bolts in the wheel arch, plus a small clip.

He has one more set in stock.

Matt, they are quite flexible.

As always with mudflaps and wheelarch covers, it is advisable to take them off and clean behind them occasionally to make sure the prolonged lack of exposure doesnt allow of the arch to rot away behind them

Stone deflectors duly arrived and were fitted this morning - look good, work very well. Made of rubber, and don't need removing you clean behind them.

For £8.50, you can't go wrong!!

When the wheels are painted the area around the steel insert is protected so that paint doesn't cover the face that the wheel nuts sit on. This inevitably means that some of the sides of the holes also do not get 100%paint coverage but as this is not considered a primary surface the wheels will not fail inspection.

OZ supply wheels to most car manufacturers to the same paint standard and we have specified the same standards with these wheels.

I hope this explains why your wheels are finished in this way.
