Mine's there now, and will be out before ANY of you lot turn up on Saturday.
Two reasons:
1
David the Taxi Controller has promised it will be ready by Friday so I can race it on Saturday
2
He doesn't have to buy me a Bacon Buttie on Friday as petty cash is dwindling.
I've done tons of jobs at home so the Brownie Points tally is sky high at present.
Trish says the car should go to API more often....
Graham.

Gaz, Like I said if you've done a few miles I don't think it smart to work a car that hard by using a 321H in middle age.
BUT if the mileage is below say, 20,000, then on a new age STi, it should be OK.
As far as JDM cars go the pistons [ in my opinion ] are better in a bugeye STi than a blob eye. In which case it would be the better result. The hyper-eutectic things in Vers 9 are exactly that ' hype ' and whilst they may be a very effective piston for the manufacturer to use for many reasons, they are most definitely NOT a high performance piston.
The con rods on New age will take it. The cams are Ok, so a good result would be anything above 400 using a front mount and a good exhaust and headers etc. Just bolt the turbo on would not get an appropriate result.

my 6 speeder is fine .The PPG only came up because I was having what I will call a "staffi" moment.ie finding more ways of spending what's left of my savings,I would only need a PPG if I wanted to Race/1/4 mile it,which does'nt really interest me.
ps when are you getting your motor back??

Just to bring this up to date, it's now been about 14 months since David and the crew did all of my upgrading. The only addition has been to replace my Apexi with a Simtek to get rid of the damned MAF and a remap to suit.
And it hasn't missed a beat, it starts first time everytime, is a dream to drive either slow or fast and is "good" on petrol(considering).
We all shout about our cars when they are just done, but credit where credit's due mine still a great drive 14 months later.
Cheers to David and everyone at API.

Thanks guys, it is nice to get continuous feedback and to know that the upgrades are not ' 5 minute wonders ' that require constant attention to keep in tune.
NS, we do bacon butties on Saturdays and as you weren't here on a Saturday we presumed that you praying for salvation down at the synagogue [ FAT CHANCE ] and wouldn't have wanted one anyway
Good luck guys , David & the boys.
Agents for Simtek, the most exciting new Ecu for years
