Spoke to the community Police Officer(Proper PC not a wannabe) today, he to knew about my car and informed me that they have stepped up patrols on foot and car but also they have noted about my Astra keys missing and he said that he would contact me if they are found.
The first officers at my house were very proffesional and once talking to the senior one it became apparant that he was a petrolhead and said that he felt for me due to wouldnt want his car going missing. I do think that it was good that he walked from my house to where my car cut out posting cards to contact them if have any info. He could have just stayed and said I was lucky, but had a desire to actually try and get info to catch the w@nker.
