Good suggestion. I favour Tench, myself - easily the nicest British freshwater fish.

Very nice fish indeed, although i still have a thing for the barbel! I can't decide!
Either way, i'd carve a nice lightly scaled mirror, I love the really dark colours in some of them, that could easily be compared to the colour of oak.
lol, it was hectic yesterday! I had 5 of the the 6 tench last night within an hour all on spam, with the first on a popped up corn and tutti boilie. 8 hours between the 1st and the rest though with nothing! Sorry for getting off the subject anyway! You gotta decide what to carve soon though surely!!!
