Gonna have to take my name off the list for this one, my car is still in bits (no spoiler, no sideskirts and no rear bumper finishers) and theres a fair bit left to do so it might not be finished by saturday morning so rather than just not showing up I'll say I can't make it now.
Right, update...
We need Al to sort out timings for buying the stuff, as I've got 3 cars to do at the 'Clinic and can't guarantee when I'll be home.
Get the stuff, get round my gaff, and have your erection whether I'm there or not
Then...
Have some beer. Plans are afoot for some of us (Scott, Stu, and possibly me) to kip in either the Markee or my tent for the night, thus allowing for vast quantities of falling-down-juice to be consumed. Anyone else who wants to stay will be more than welcome

OK... Initial plan to meet at the Redbeck at 3:30 (may be later if we can as it would be good to meet Sticks back at his gaff..)
Then down to AJM to buy the tent.. anyone know where the place is? No issues if no one does as I'll have it on my Sat Nav..
How long will it take to get there?? 15??
Then.. back to Stickies ...
1. Al
2. Sticky
3. Simon
4. Craftsy
5. JB
6. Stu
7. Scott
8. John

There's a reason it's called Grimethorpe, you know
15 minutes should be more than enough time for somone to come along, whip yer wheels, spoilers, sat nav, seats, dash, carpet, windscreen....
Then 5 mns to get back to the (relatively) safe haven that is Ryhill
Bring the kids folks, as the fair is in town (Did I mention that already?)
Dunno when I'll be back, but I'll find somewhere safe to hide until the erection is complete

CANCELLED
Due to the fact of not being given the right info......
They don't have any 6x4 Mtr tents in AND they close at 12 lunchtime....
Looks like we need to re-source the tentage...

What do you need tentage wise?
I have a 3x3mtr easy up with sides that you could borrow....
I need it for the week end after Blyton for a rally, but apart from that its available?

Chris.. we are looking for a decent Marqee that we can use throughout the year to gather 20+ people in.. we have the smaller 'Gay'zebo which doesn't fit the size of the club and will be used as a cooking shelter..
We were specifically looking for a 6x4 mtr thing with covered sides and plastic windows...

The links work, GIAS.
For under £100 that Markee looks okay, but I'm not sure if we were looking for something a little more rugged / hard wearing.
You know what this needs?
A WYIOC impromptu discussion meet.
So, can I propose that anyone who wants to meets at my unit either tomorrow or Weds at around 6:30 / 7:00
I have a fairly rapid t'interweb connection, so we could smurf, discuss, decide and plan a course of action, and then perhaps get the thing bought and use it at Blyton as a bit of an erection test?
All those who want to come are welcome.
List?

Second link only shows a George Formby grill, for which we'd need a genny
Cheap enough though, might get one for home.

The cheaper place is STAX but they are very secretive and dont show anything online.. it would mean a trip there and not sure if we have one planned..

I gathered it was for cooking burgers on, rather than for us all to stand in if it rains
My point was that, nice as it looks, it requires some of that new fangled electrickery to work, whereas we're looking for something powered by fossil fuel.
Where's STAX?
Is it a similar kind of thing to Makro?
Does anyone have a JTF card, as I reckon that hey could be the best bet for this.

Think that's in Hunslet too.
I was thinking of getting a card too, just two proofs of 'being in business' letterheads, addressed utility bill, the usual.
They send out regular Makro mail type stuff, and currently have a proper behemoth of a Mark-ee for under £400, but it's a bit too big for what we need at 12m x 6m

If your having the marquee and cooking then don't forget one of these;
The Ultimate Portable toilet for the outdoorsman.
might fit on the back of Dazza's Atom
