If you are struggling to overtake someone with a 200 bhp Civic then its clear that car you are trying to overtake is making it difficult for you - ie. he's racing you or just being a plain ****.
I have owned and driven Skylines, Supras, M3s - all powerhouse cars and I have not found my S2000 any more difficult to overtake with. I dont even need 8000 rpm, accelerating between 3 - 6k with 50% throttle is enough.
