It's a bit different from flying planes!!!
I see what you mean, the controls are very sensitive, tried taking off a couple of times but it tips over, so have put the training boom on until I get used to it, great fun though!!
Checked out the spares earlier, loads of carbon fibre goodies to be had
though think I better master the controls before I upgrade it

Thanks mate, will keep that in mind
Been checking a few helicoptor forums, and it seems a lot of people recommend trimming the main rotor blades down to 220mm to give more stable flight, then adjust the mix to compensate, will give it a go! having a nightmare just trying to get it to hover as it just wants to topple over, watched the DVD 3 times, adjusted the centre of gravity etc and still can't get it right, though am now getting used to using the sticks to maneuvre it around on the training boom

Oh don't, I've broke the tail boom support now!! mind you, it only needs a drop of superglue

My wn fault really, trying to fly it outside and because it's so light, the breeze blows the 'copter everywhere. Have to try it in the workshop at work!
Got a simulator from RB5John, it's awkward to fly using the keyboard, the controls are full on or nothing so can't fly properly

From: Going further than the station and back !!! ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz
Got my batteries on charge.
Anyone about tomorrow?
Fancy a bit of a get together to test the cars? Mine hasn't been run for about a year and would love to make sure it is all ok and running well before next week (assuming it still goes ahead next week
)
Only thing I haven't got is fuel!
Mine has gone off

From: Back in Diesel wonderland - 3.0 TDi Quattro A4, with more toys than Ann Summers...lol
Took mine for a little blast today!
Thanks to Cornelius for the fuel.
Running well, considering it has stood for over a year!
Rolled it twice!
No damage though, other than a bit of cosmetics, all repaired now though.
Only thing I noticed was that it only changed up in to 2nd gear when it was almost out of fuel and running lean.
Does that mean it's running too rich the rest of the time?
