Educated ****, keyboard warrior or trying to sound like one?

The upper classes are just that, "up there *****".

Perhaps anonymity is better for some people, think PS Lewis.

You could carry on chasing little ginger dogs and drinking from the stirrup cup!!

Or get off your hugh horse and join in, bring your kids and not be as enthusiastic as some of us. But, don't be partronising or sarcastic, it's the lowest for of sh*t.

Sorry wit

My word, this seems to have caused a little stir

Don't get me wrong, no-one enjoys driving "briskly" more than me and I also compete at "grass roots" level in motorsport so maybe I'll come along one day and give you all a damn good run for your money

The thing that worried me about this thread was the implication that you wouldn't want anyone's kids getting hurt should there be a mishap - it's not a great idea to be planning an event on public roads on that basis, is it?

Enjoy yourselves but do take care

And for those of you that think maybe the titled aristocracy should butt out and stop interfering, perhaps you should watch out for my new company car in your mirrors?

Just take car and never think that you can beat those ranges. I have driven those roads many many times over the years and even the best can get caught out. If you go off up there its usually a long way down before you hit something to stop you. Enjoy it but we dont want to be reading any obituary notes in the local rags.

3 yes i know v.c is busting to get on the track and i must say it does sound like fun but there can'nt be much stimulation, these roads are challenging and and not for the faint hearted
4 they all get upset when they have little accidents at the end of the day they are not wannabe wrc drivers just an ordinary joe who likes to have a crack without hurting, offending or damaging anyone/thing

it's worth noting these work better with smaller numbers - might need to make 2 groups if it gets bigger....

No one wants anyone to get hurt FULL STOP to coin a phrase. But we do like a little stretch ever once in a while as long as everyone knows how to drive and knows their limits. How they find these is their problem. People who lead know the roads and drive according.

As for your company car I think that the vast majority of us respect that there needs to be a change in road rules to drop local speeds and increase main trunk routes and principle roads. I for one respect other road users. But I also think if you repress a populus for long enough you are going to force something out the sides somewhere. Our sides are a little well organised run in the middle of nowhere with the greatest respect for other road users.

If you want to stifle that and come out in the company motor then we will probably see you but if we dont it is because we are watching our speedos in paranoia of passing a camera over the limit.

Do your job in the right place and keep the respect you have. Hide in a van and covertly tax the MOT'd and insured users of the road and you are on the way to losing it.

Maybe see you around I'll buy you a pint. But leave the lectures for work not on here.

Gazz.

Class.

Anyway, regardless of the negative publicity I'm in. PM me the details when you have them Ritchie.

Been offline for a while due to busy work life and moving house but now have broadband at home again.

Apologies for missing the recent GB for clutches, hope it didn't affect anyone.
