I fitted it a couple of weeks ago, along with some other jobs when I had a week off. Still haven't been out in it yet though. Just don't get to drive it as much as I'd like anymore with working 5 minutes walk away from home.

It'll be interesting to see what you think. I'm going to go for it anyway and hope with the bung in it is still bearable for passengers during the week. Then weekends, out it comes

With it sat on the drive it doesn't sound too much louder than the old magnex I had with the bung still fitted, I'll get the bung out before I take out for a run.

Well I went out today and I'm not popular, her who should be obeyed says it's much louder than the old magnex and she doesn't think the kids will like it.

God help her when I take the bung out

All in, despite the fact that I've got some boost issues (it is only making between 0.5 and 0.6 bar of boost) and I've now noticed that the oil pressure gauge flickers just before it settles (I expect that to be sender problem as there is no other issues with the car), it seems to spool up quicker, and sounds much better, popping on over-run so I'm pleased even if she isn't.

Try scoobyworld, they do one for their exhausts for about £20 which will fit others

Sounds just what i'm looking for. My wife hates the car anyway, so this will just cap it off really

Is the rest of your exhaust standard, i.e with cats in place still?.

I removed the third cat at the same time as fitting the exhaust, so not quite standard, I plan to replace the up-pipe and do a sports cat over the winter if cash allows.

Default Rattle

I have had one of these since Dec and took the bung out,it sounded great but wife and kids hated it, when I replaced the bung I had a job to stop it rattling on lift off. Blitz advice was to bend it just out of shape!

It's simple in our house, if the wife and kids don't like it, walk or use her car.

My lad is growing into a bit of a petrol head and has slept in my old V6 cavalier, the exhaust in that was louder than the blitz I have on now
