Funnily enough when we went it was just about right.

Left us time for a burger and a chat at the services, then a photo session outside the Prodrive building before being shown around.

If we hit any roadworks we are shafted, so to speak.

The drive back is usually a bit quicker

I'm going to be coming up from Dover, so just wondered if there was anywhere I could maybe join up with the rest of you shortly before Prodrive. I'll probably be doing the M20, M26, M25, M40 route....

When I return I have to go down to Southampton, so I doubt anyone else will be going that way..!!

On the way back we usually head back via the south route of the M25 and do the Dartford Tunnel so that shouldn't be a problem.

As far as meeting up is concerned....... I'm not familiar with services on the M40.

 

I'll be heading off down the A34 to Southampton on the return leg, so it seems I may be in a convoy of one there and back..!! lol!

The plan is to meet at Lakeside services at 1-00pm and leave at 1-30pm sharp. We will then take the north route of the M25 and then turn off to the M40.

No doubt we will get caught in some traffic along the way but at that time it shouldn't be so bad. On the previous trips we drove along at 55-60mph the whole way and still arrived an hour early.

On the return journey, head South on the M25 and take in the dartford tunnel. Stop at lakeside for a wee break and then head home.

Frayz is meeting us up there as he has something to do on the way. I won't be coming back with you and neither will Dr Wozzaa.....

Have fun and look after YVM on the way back as he's on a running-in map and won't be able to keep up with you

 

Ok, not panicking or anything, but is the Prodrive factory going to be ok for our tour with all this rain in their area..? Not panicking much, maybe just a little , well actually a fair bit..... I'm not missing it twice..!!!

 

Its something I've been thinking about too........

Apparently West Midlands are the worst hit. I've got to go to Wolverhampton after the tour

The tour is scheduled to start at 5pm and lasts until 7pm. However, on the previous ESC Prodrive trips we were still being shown around gone 8pm

The plan is to meet at Lakeside services at 12-45 and leave at 1pm sharp. We will then take the north route of the M25 and then turn off to the M40.

No doubt we will get caught in some traffic along the way but at that time it shouldn't be so bad. On the previous trips we drove along at 55-60mph the whole way and still arrived an hour early. This left us plenty of time to stop and grab a burger at the services before the Prodrive junction..... it also gave Adidas time to clean the ketchup off his shirt
