The Posers Cruise to Southend Seafront

SATURDAY 3 MARCH 2007

Meeting in Tescos car park Basildon ( Located on the Mayflower retail park A127 London bound ) from 7pm , leaving for the seafront @ 8pm

Come along & join the fastest growing Scooby crew in the country

DO'S & DON'TS FOR ALL POSERS

1. No doughnuts , flamefests or letting us hear how nice your exhaust sounds in Tescos car park . This is our home please don't abuse it .

2. Once on the move keep checking your mirrors & when other vehicles get stuck in the convoy please move over to lane 1 and let them filter through .

3. Be ready for the "Underpass" slow down & launch ~ Ditto @ traffic lights .

4. Once in two lanes try to keep in your lane & please indicate if you must change lane mid convoy .

5. When regrouping at the front drive all the way around the bend and DOUBLE PARK before the speed camera .

6. Get yourself a two way radio set to Channel 1 . ONLY to be used for shepherding the convoy . Use another channel if you want to play .

7. Fixed Cameras ~ Traffic Units ~ Mobile Cameras ~ You have been warned .

8. Above all HAVE FUN .

I Was one of the lucky ones who got in & Managed a few do nuts & a nice milky coffee

For an hour or so the front was like a ghost town

Still normal service was resumed around 10pm when everything was re opened

Roll on next month

Allthough the lady in the tea hut mentioned that there were a load of idiots messing about last Saturday night & that the police maybe clamping down on the cruise this week ( Not our cruise i must add

We have one or two members on here who are in the know , So im sure we will find out the real reason it was all closed of soon

Great meet lots of nice shiny Car's, front of EmEm`s was very shiny for some reason, love the graphics on Fraz`s car to.......

But wasn`t it scary quite Asked Mr police man as we left but was told "don't Know, just told to close the road sir" can`t remember ever being called Sir before, might try to get the kids to say that

good to see you guys again, and some more nice cars about... i got parked up down the front too, met up with Sami and only left at about gone 11pm, good fun, think i have to miss nxt month but summer cruises will be ace!

Sorry we was late, with the NEWSLETTERS!!
our meeting place was 7pm, only to phone 1 person @ 10 passed to see where he was, & he was just leaving a petrol garage
So that made us 20 mins later than what we would have been.

No worries Baz , I Was getting a little concerned as to where you were , But you made it in time , Thanks to Mini yellowvanman ( Simon) & His mate , Nearly all the newsletters got distributed
