Tiny has just got on site at Ealing Broadway. he left home at 5.30am.

 

Woo Hoo !! Just got into work and it was very slushy rather than snowy?! Didn't see no gritters out last night, which I thought was bad ... but hey hoo! First time I've driven my car in the snow! Was easy (considering my rear tyres aren't that great!) but as I pulled onto work's drive, the a*se end kicked out..... I was only pulling onto the drive for God sake !!!

All I could think about on the way to work was "damn it, now my car is going to get dirty after I cleaned it at the weekend!!!"

Smothered in snow in Rainham Essex decided to have day off work didnt really fancy driving my double decker in this weather a bus drifting in the snow is not good let me tell ya gonna go have snowball fights with my kids as they're both off school Yippee

Bloody snow, has totally ruined any hopes of playing golf this afternoon.

Oh well, back to the tv.

 

Lol.. my scooby would of got me to work but theres no way i was taking that... besides.. shes not ready to go out yet.

Hopefully ready for the HWH maybe next week.. who knows

 

Oh dear never mind, I'm sure it wont hurt having 1 day any from the golf lol.

Both kids schools shut, and the snowman is already half done on the deck.

 

Kids school closed we checked the website b4 getting ready but Lizzys mates obviously didnt as i had half the bloody school here . They have all been out in it since 8:30am its thick snow here and still snowing . Just waiting for the tribe to come back now soaked and cold LOL ( Bloody kids wouldnt let me go with them ).

same here, apparantly 6-7 inches at my parents

 

Had about 4"-5" in Harlow when I got up at 5.30am, so left car at home, caught a bus to the overland station (which took 50 mins to do a 10 min trip) - got to Liverpool Street, then rather than sit on a cold bus, went to the Circle Line (only to find severe delays) and eventually got to work at 9.30!

Still snowing in Central London, but doesn't appear to be settling at the moment - let's hope the trip back home tonight will be easier...

Went through Latchingdon at about 5.30am and it had just started to come down heavy , by the time I got to the Rettendon roundabout it was getting pretty dangerous , with plenty of accidents just waiting to happen . What's it like out in the sticks at the moment? I'm not looking forward to the trip home
