Aye cracking day out really enjoyed it. Thankfully I managed in the end to combine a quick launch with not going into some strange Trance afterwards and got 13.68.
I know it's only going in a straight line but my god I'd never launched it like I did today felt superb / scary, was quite taken aback. Clutch seems to be fine so all
Well done to Mr C for getting in there with the quickest Scoob. Very good turnout from the club and also from Scoobs in general - must have made up nearly 50% of the cars running today.

The VW has a 1.8t (well 1.9). He was running 40shot nos and was rr'd at 498bhp so it does shift a bit lol. Just converted it to 4wd so traction isn't much of an issue

WOW 11.3 is f0000000000000000kin quick, infact quicker than a Mac F1... Well done mate if that was the time that that a seriously quick motor
Soz I couldn't make it, had to get the electrics sorted in the garage and after i made the lights go out in Wakefield, due to a blinding flash of light in the garage all went well 10mm cable and a drill conecting it to earth turns drill into welder sweet... I now have a tan
will defo be at the next one

Nice one Paul was great to see it run like it did, the low profiles let you down a bit as you say with laying down the power.. launch control and tyres you was losing more than .33 on your 60' times due to launch and traction
respect mate

What a superb day!
First real day with good weather, quality turnout from the WYIOC with Simon, Jim, Dave, Me and Paul running with plenty of friendly supporting faces from WYIOC too.
Everyone running was nice and sociable with a good spirit, typical of these events.
Big mention for Paul. I was running and then having a good sociable 20 mins chatting away before the next run. Paul was frantically working away trying to find the right setup with tyres. Bet he was knackered at the end of the day!
Just think what Paul could do with that car and extra sticky tyres!!
I started in the mid 13's but managed to get my 0-60 just under 2 and finished on a best of 12.74 @ 115 mph.
I'm pretty happy with that since it's still my daily driver and I never went heavy on the clutch. I figure if it was in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing (like Steve Darley) and gave it a good hammering, a time in the low 12's would be achievable.
Anything further than that and I'd have to strip it and I still want it as my daily driver...for now
With the weather being so good I had a good thrash on the back roads home as well. Scoobs rule!!
Some photos and videos from today:
PS - IF ANYONE HAS ANY VIDEO OF MY RUNS COULD YOU SEND ME A COPY? LIKEWISE, IF DAVE, SIMON, JIM OR PAUL WANT COPIES OF THEIR RUNS I'LL DO THEM NO PROBS.

Nice one Ian - good Vids. To be honest there was never any doubt in my mind I'd beat the Zen performance car
If you could whack any of that footage of all of the cars on a disk (either .avi or .wmv?) I'd be greatful.
Think I got plenty of footage of you - probably 3 or 4 of your runs but don't know when I'll get time to sort it out as all 'technology' spare time is going towards the website at the mo but I'll get the footage together at some point.
Childish I know, but got some nice footage going through the tunnels leading from the M1 to M62 with the windows down at a nice level of Revs too
