SO he's going to call me when he's ready
For a flamer thicky
What is is about having a cat (Sports cat in my case) that's stops the flamers working? Fancy a kit but not sure if I want to go full de-cat, don't really want any more noise and still have a years warranty....

I suspect the issue is that the CAT, which is effectively a filter collects the majority if not all of the unburnt fuel, therefore nothing to burn in the tailpipe. as Paul said he's not tried a flame kit on a car with a sports CAT fitted, so we can't be sure of the results...
Saying that the results on all cars, even with de-cats vary dramatically, due to the MAP...
Cheers Mark, is it worth fitting one to see what the outcome is? As you said last night it may just subdue the amount of flames rather than loose them completely....I may just say bo**ocks and fit a cat pipe then

Completely up to you mate, as it's your car, I must admit it would be nice to find out once and for all.
