no- luckily missing it for all of my flights over that period .... closest I am is LHR-JFK on the morning of the 11th for the strike on the 12th.
Very lucky...fully expecting it to be jam packed from rebookings though, so hopefully a bump from club to F
.
Could do with the miles as compensation though, and don't mind being 'stranded' in the US, as long as I am not stuck at LHR, and as long as I am not rebooked on AA!

Well i have to admit, ive been on lads holidys like this before (had plenty of fun too
)I understand all of the comments i really do, but come on, have non of you had a proper lads holiday where its been all about beer, sun and loose women
Or do you just go on a stag do, drink shandy and go to bed by 11pm after having played cards all evening, come on we've all done it

, so nowa days all u have to wear is a bit of gold and some labelled clothing and you got a tag as CHAV, im not a big fan of football but im proud of where im from and not shy off sharing that.

I have mates just like some of them, always getting their ***** out when theyve had a few, there good lads who work and play hard, and are top fun to go out with, a real laugh
I dont go out with them to much these days tho, as my head is in peices for days afterwards, i just cant hack the pace
This whole chav thing makes me laugh tho. Your totally right in what you say mate, a gold chain, football shirt, or driving a subaru ect ect all make you a scally/chav
Well if thats the case arnt we all chav's on here as 99% of us own a subaru
Im not bothered what people call me chav/townie/scally, im just a bloke who takes pride in my pristine scooby and enjoys learning about them, and meeting like minded people, if that makes me a chav, then so be it

I guess you had a great time, though personally it looks like a vision of hell to me. Load of "lads" abroad, wearing excessive amounts of "sportswear" or "designer" clothes (Burbery), getting pissed up and acting like arseh*les. Yeah nice one, just furthering the typical stereotype of Brits (sic) abroad. Bet you are proud of yourselves. Chavs.

Lads holidays............. arhhhh you just cant beat'em. :-) Had many a "Jolly Boys" outing. More blokes the better, as the more different types of characters, personalties, the better.
I wouldnt worry about the comments, looked a fun old time matey.

we was meant to go to amsterdam but there was 25-30 of us wanted to go and couldnt find accomodation for a big male party which was quite gutting, i was looking forward to having a good smoke lol

Yeah, we have found that a number of times. Clubs, bars dont like such large groups, so you have to break up, try and pair up with girls you've met, to get in.
What ever the size of the group, you always get 1 that gets pi55ed within an one hours of starting, 1 that always gets into a fight. :-)
