Am I getting old listening to Radio 2?

Radio 1- waste of good electricity.
WTF is all that R&B and Rap garbage?? Would rather have tinnitus than listen to that. Sometimes the apprentices sneak it on hoping the "oldies" at work won't notice. Usually ends in a beating.
Radio 2 for me. Terry is a legend, once you have blanked that "boring chat show host that Gran likes" out of your mind when you were a kid. Very dry, funny bloke. The banter, and Janet & John is fantastic, although playlist can be a bit iffy. Ken Bruce is the best all rounder, can take Steve Wright or leave him, although Ask Elvis is genius.
Used to go to school with Virgin Geoff, what a ginger god botherer he is.

Wouldnt say anybody on radio 1 is worth listening to anymore - mybe as precurser to going clubbing on a fridy night
Alll the djs who are playing intresting music have now migrated to 2 . - apart from Steve right of course..

Radio 2's my station of choice. Not in the evening drives though.
Radio 1's just full of skinny black jeans, stripey sweater, plimsoll wearing, brushed forward dork hairdo music.
But then, I just sound like my old man 20 years ago.

as said before, there are some good shows on 1 in the later hours, most of the daytime stuff is just pap for the masses, it's bound to be isn't it?
try listen again for, colin murray, annie mac's mash up,black hole, bobby friction & nihal etc.....all good stuff, and the music is totally different to the daytime stuff.
I rarely listen to CD's now if I am at the PC, mostly that listen agains..... If I'm out driving then its R1, and have just dipped my toe into 4 for the late evening drives home. I need a station to replace scott mills if I'm out, as he is starting to get on my ****, so at the moment just flick through the stations...
