Media watchdog Ofcom has reported a record 16,400 complaints against the programme, with a further 2,000 contacting Channel 4 to voice their dismay.
Celebrity Big Brother's viewing figures went up by nearly one million from Monday after the row erupted.

From what I've seen of youtube (can't be arsed to watch too much of it mind) it looks like Jade and that other blonde girl are just jealous because Shilpa appears to have a bit of class about her.
Only reason why Jade is in there is because shes got a mouth on her and this sort of thing was pretty obviously going to happen.
Think the racist thing is more to sell papers and yet another obvious effort for the race hatred to boil up again.
People need to take a step back and ask why the western population is being engineered into racial hatred histeria.

i am aware of the differences the point i am making is the indian/hindu youth are so full of themselves. theres a cast culture amongst the indian community one that pisses me off .you dont see a indian doctor married to rough **** bricklayer from brum oh no! not the done thing.

It Indian Hindu's, not Pakistani Muslims and they don't really seem to be moaning anyway, I think they just don't like the bitchy cows being nasty to their equivalent of Jane Horrocks or whatever.
One of the BB women has had death threats though, but that could be for other reasons I suppose.

no-one has said a racial remark to her,fact is she is thick as **** and people are getting fed up with her.She is playing the 'victim' so as to get the majority of the population on her side giving her an easy victory.When she called one of the girls 'white trash' no-one said a word but when people have a whinge at her for being a dinlo the world goes into uproar

i have noticed that Jackson is doing a lot of stirring.
He has been putting ideas into shulpa's head and getting her wound up. i think he is sneaky and sly, i want him to bet the boot

has anyone said what group are ringing up and complaining i bet its the pc brainwashed fantacists i i dont reckon any ethnics have complained because she has not been racially abused just the bleedin nutters we have in this country feckin it up for everyone.
15,000 complaints still **** all realy the pc twerps are still a tiny section but dont they cause some hassle and the spinless media.

Why is it alright for someone to say or do something to someone of same race/religion/sex/whatever, but wrong to say or do the same thing to someone of a different race/sex/religion/whatever? Is murder worse if your victim is of another race? Are they any more dead?
If she is getting abused by other housemates, deal with it the same way as if it was one of the other contestants being abused, and focus on the term "abuse". And if you don't like what's happening on a TV programme - don't watch it. There's about 800 other channels to chose from these days (OK you may have to pay extra for a few!

The only ones I see on the news blowing it all out of proportion are the ones burning effigies of the producers of C4... what colour are they and where are they from...
Who stood up in the commons and had questions to ask / statements to make...
Another one of the same...
It's not up to any of us to decide if it's racist or not.
The only person to ask / answer that is Shilpa herself.
