Hi,

Could be interested, getting the car remapped on the 11th so would be a good test for that.... due an MoT on the 18th so better get that booked & done early before I trash the tyres

Can you tell me what's the situation with passengers please? My boy's on half term then, and would love to come, thing is he's 13. I'm not too sure if there's an age limit or not, any ideas? If I can work it, would be a good day out. Have done two of these at Coombe before with my ITR, haven't had the wagon on the track yet.

Cheers,

Paul

Cool

Paul will check circuit documentation, some circuits now say the minimum age is sixteen the last few years my son joined me and he was under 16. We used to say 12 was the minimum age as long as the child was securely strapped in i.e. not too small, had a helmet and feet are placed on the foot well

Paul checking ARMCO Public Liability extract is says:-

All participants including passengers must sign the necessary indemnities prior to going on circuit, anybody under the age of 17 must have the indemnity countersigned by a parent or guardian. No age mentioned I will check with circuit.

Looks ok

Hmm - hadn't spotted it was half term. My son might like this too (he's 12½). I'll suggest it to the Social Sec.

Is there a booking list for sighting laps and instruction, or is it first-come first-served?

You can do sighting laps of the circuit before the action starts with the course instructor leading the way.

as for Instruction if you put your name down Stormy will allocate you a slot during the day.

What I would say is that as its privately organised by Stormy and Terry it is a very friendly day and perfect for exposing younger ones to the world of track days if they like cars and stuff.

Wink Three weeks to go

Have confirmed with the circuit parents/guardians can take children under the age of 17 with the organisers permission and on completion of signing the relevent Indemnity form on track. Organiser and Marshalls will check the passenger is secure in the car.

There will be sighting laps straight after the driver briefing in instructors cars.

If you need instruction let me know

Good to see a good number of Scoobys, Evos and GTIs

I can't wait, not long to go know

I went back to this circuit last year, the first time in 17years and thoroughly enjoyed myself . Its a great circuit, fast and challenging, with loads of run-off.
