They do sound nice. Will be hiring one out in March for a couple of weeks, look like a heavy old bike though

I heard that Budgie passed on his 2nd attempt, as the first time he tried it he ran down the bloke carrying the red flag in front of him!

1st Time for me

& 1st Time in the therory - beleve I was one of the first batch of people to sit the test , they were hand written tests back then lol, none of these pointless reaction tests either

first time for me. had my test at brentwood last thing on a friday. everyone said i passed because the examiner wanted to get home for the weekend

It's amazing how many peeps have a bike license as well!! Anyone would think we're all a bunch of petrol heads

I passed my car test 2nd time before seat belts became law Dec 1982[Took my 1st 3 days after my 17th birthday because I was that confident Failed on nearly everything !!!!]

Past my PSV 1st time though although I let this lapse [didn't pay my annual fee] many years ago still have my badge though

I passed my car test 1st time about 11 years ago! My god, is it that long?

I also passed my Shunting licence (train movments in a depot) about 3 weeks ago!

A childhood dream to drive a train!!!!!

What do you mean used to flush onto the track, they still do. Them old **** heaps are still running!!!

I used to work at Ilford depot up until a couple of years ago and had to work on them *******

**** trains, **** work


Oh and by the way, I passed my car test 1st time with only 1 minor

Apart from that used to love working there, I meant to put Ilford car shed, not East ham,

Thats one good thing about the jubilee line, the trains are quite clean!

Except at around 2 in the morning when your walking through them doing your checks and some one has decided to chuck up all over the place!.................... Nice!!!

Was doing an appenticship in electricalk and mechanical engineering.

used to work in (a shop) i think doing a lot of carriage buidling.
