how about a BMW forum

I think the BBS is fine as it is. As an owner of one of them underpowered BMW auto rep specials I go to dedicated BMW sites to ask questions.
Still come on here a lot as over the past three years Ive met some people (would say friends !!).
This BBS is a community however and not just a site dedicated to Scooby owners IMHO. Its good to have input from other car owners no matter how biased.

How about just sticking with what it is now? I thought that the Ford section was put in just to give a playpen for some of the kids who were on half-term & causing too many discussions about grammar & spelling - the BMW, Porsche etc. (& most Ford ) lot appear to be have finished at school so we needn't return to our ABCs all the time.
Isn't scoobynet here for scooby owners, who may then for some unbelieveable reason become ex-scooby owners but still want to hang around? If there is, say, a BMW section, they are no longer hanging around the people/things that they are here for in the first place, and also scoobynet would start to attract more & more non-scooby related stuff (as there was somewhere specific for them to go) which would bog down the ever more struggling server that the BBS is as well! Also, the "font of knowledge" (or at least different point of view ) from having the odd non-scooby owner disappears 'cos they're all off running about in their own section.
So, basically, one here for sticking as it is

Sorry but bottom line it's a silly idea. I've got an M3 now and post on BMW sites (www.bm3w.co.uk) and that's fine for M3 owners. As others have said this is a Subaru site...
Gareth.
P.S. Still like Scoobies though..honest!!
