i think the deal with fresh paint is not to do anything with it until it has cured properly - around a month i think

Read somewhere about 8-10 weeks not cotrodicting you pippy, best thing you guys could do is ask the guy whos spraying your car. depends on the baking process somehow.

 

sounds right to me - i was told 4 weeks as a minimum and that was in the summer

Hi guys

On the new paint front - generally it depends on the baking system used by the paintsprayer but a good rule of thumb is 6 weeks. Its ok to polish the paint by machine (afterall its buffed right after baking) but its sealing the paint that becomes tricky as it needs to air - that said it can be done with a breathable sealant.

Looks like we have a few names too - cant wait to get over and get started.

well I'm not and never have been a bike guy - but that does look the bollox indeed! - only detailed 2 bikes before - nightmare to do but very rewarding!

 

scooby does come second best to this catch me if you 180mph
and yes i can go that fast most sundays in mid wales when its not raining
