there were 4 or 5 press cars mine was originally p1 pvp... the one on the front of you and your subaru.. mine had all the extra's big wheels brake seats etc etc etc.. and was fully blue printed before the press got hold of it.. and then fully blue printed before it was sold on to its first owner...

So a serious question for you knowledgable lot and help me settle a dispute A local P1 owner reckoned it was a WRX Sti V6 type R which i desputed said it was it was a Sti V5 2 door.
So what Base car was used by Prodrive to make the P1??

version 5 but it wouldnt make a great deal of difference as the version 6 only had a different spoiler and a aditional chin spoiler oh and the interior had a few different things in there

Actually it did
Nice spec as well with all the upgrade WR parts. Not sure it had over 300hp but it was certainly a quick one, maybe because our Senior Technician rebuilt the engine after somebody else had put too much oil in it.............
The white car is one of the development cars and was a Group N donor car (V5 Type R) converted with the bits we wanted and used to develop the suspension spec and get the car homologated.
