Cheers Graham

After all the problems last year, it is nice to be finally spending money on making the car go faster - and now it certainly does

Dazza - I look forwrd to seeing what your does when it it tested

I'm sure the power will be similar to mine, but you should have plenty more torque - mine was below 420lbft, whereas yours could be over 470lbft

Still a bit of scottimax and a remap might improve things a bit

don't think i'll be making 450+ bud
i suggested to a certain bloke who sells these 321's that i'm looking at around 420 , cuz of the UK heads , but he reckons i'll be pleasantly suprised

Sounds good Steve - look forward to getting the low-down after you get the car back tomorrow. What's the spec of your engine?

picked the car up and had a quick blast ! pat has turned the power down as it needed a tweak but my tracking is out and i didnt fancy driving hard with the car having trouble staying in a straight line full boost is around 4500rpm and it pulls nice i will be able to say how it drives properly once its had its final road tweak next weekend and its running its proper power

my car is a 2ltr bolck with rcm pistons and eagle rods, ported and polished heads, autronics ecu, aps fmic, magnus inlet manifold and lots lots more stuff !! and more to come as i have just picked up an ej22t block so im already prepared for when im bored with this setup

Quick update for ya

Having a PPG straight cut dog engagement 1-4 gearset and new UK 5th gear installed along with Exedy twin plate clutch.

Also a smaller bore up-pipe and a few tweaks to the air induction - cold air inlet, etc - oh and a parallel fuel rail setup

Then a remap on Thursday night - all in time for Time Attack round 1 at Donno this weekend

Donnington is open on Sat Terry.
What is happening on that day with TA?
I'm racing on Sun/Mon and thinking of coming over to see some action (if there is some!)

Has anyone not left it till the last minute to get stuff done? i'll go and update my thread with everything that's not been done and fitted in a minute

Don't forget to have a haircut ready for the TV cameras, Terry

Graham, it's 20 quid to get in but well worth the entrance fee to watch me drive

Great weekend of Time Attack competition (well only actually the 1 day for me ) but loved every minute of it, including getting beached in the gravel on my timed "fast" lap

Video of the incident - No damage, thankfully

My fastest lap in the 2 practice sessions I had of 1:25.2

Oh and a few pics for you

Roll on the next round at Silverstone - oh and Scooby Shoot Out before that

I still had a great time though - no regrets at all

I look at the video of my full lap now and think I should have taken different lines in a number of places - but it's easy saying that now - when you are there in the heat of the moment, decisions are made so quickly that you cant go back on.

I just can't wait to get it on track again

Oh guess what - Castle Combe on Monday

Less than a week to go till SSO now.

This will be the 1st time this car has been on the 1/4 mile since I've owned it - so am intrigued to see what it will do.

Of course, I'm also hoping for a good show on the handling circuit

I'd be very happy if I did Alan, although I have not launched this car in anger since the power upgrade and the PPG dog box was fitted - but will have fun practicing this week
