But yeah, if one comes up I wouldn't say no, but they are like gold dust!

I can choose the colour and spec once I get my build date....
He also said if he gets one in second hand that I like, I can transfer my deposit onto that car

always the same matey. they say 18 months to deter the dreamers ... as soon as your cash is down it goes straight to 12 months, as you get the spec'ing call after two months of putting your 10k down.
Best thing about them too is that you can get your 10k back if you have financial issues ... they really are one of the nicest dealers on the market today! Totally understanding.
997 Turbo - perfect choice for your needs I think buddy. would love to see you driving a 430 one day though.
Ginge,
I've been thinking, I know you live the dream rather then dream the dream and don't pretend you own stuff when it actually belongs to a mate. But if you're deadly serious about buying a 997 I have a VERY good contact who works in a well known American Bank.
He deals exclusively with private clients and their needs (i.e those with a $1 million+ of disposable income). The last time I was speaking to him, he told me that if I was ever looking at buying a Porsche/Ferrari (I wish
) I should speak to him, as he could put me in touch with various dealership managers who might be in a position to help out and perhaps cut a few corners.
He's currently out of the Country and won't be back until next week, just PM me if you're intrested
BTW, he's brother is a manager of a Ferrari dealership in the South East if you really want to scratch that itch

, can you suggest anything I can boost it with??
On advise from various sources I've changed the Audi for a 997 Carrera S.
The Audi was loosing money at nearly 1k a week, Carrera S should stabalise while I wait for my Turbo. Pick it up Friday

Its very nice to drive actually
Simular power to weight as the Audi, less power but weighs less, and it's RWD so no AWD Transmission Loss.
Should be fun at the ring

Just promise me that you'll push the sport button when you are leaving the dealership ... and then never turn it off for the duration that you have the car!!! The S is a nice car when it's in regular mode but a ******* awesome car with that sport button pressed. Nice swap for the audi bud ...
