Sorry to hear this. I find it is a combination of anger and upset when something of mine gets stolen.

For future reference it might be worth knowing that thieves usually return to the scene of their crime to nick all the new stuff that replaced the stuff they originally stole. Expect them back again I am afraid.

For what it is worth my dad always locks things up like Fort Knox and I took the micky for years. Not any more, I am just as safe as him now. Crappy country at times...

sorry to hear about your scoob, totally bad luck.

i know its barn doors and horses but have you thought about having a blackjax's type unit fitted to your next car. i know its a pain tapping in the code number but if nicked they wont get far...

That's very depressing news matey. Sorry to hear it's happened twice in such a short time

I think most people reading this thread will have a slightly sick feeling in their stomachs; the fact that Imprezas seem to be a particular target for thieves and we're unable to fight back.

What will you do now? Time for a real 'sleeper' car maybe??

So they just walked in and took your keys with you in the house?! nightmare. Something as simple as a yale lock would help if this is the case.

Sorry to hear of this Bubba. Even 'you' don't deserve to have two cars stolen in just 3 months.
Has anyone else in the area suffered the same fate as you recently?

I was well paranoid after my first car got lifted! I go to extremes making sure it doesnt happen again...

Hopefully you wont have any problems with the insurance company and another scoob will sitting on the drive again soon..

Mate, this is so fecking harsh. My thoughts are with you.

What has the world come to?

FFS - I don't want to have to fear for my car! Its 6 years old dammit, hardly a new merc or range rover!

Man I hope some proper karma comes round their way very soon.

Unfortunately the Subaru is always going to be a target car. Perhaps a more stealth like vehicle is called for?

Need to find a happy medium.
This like Impreza's/Evo's will attract the professional thieves, a runaround car worth a few hundred pounds will attract the joy riders.

Need a £2000-£3000 Focus/Astra really

This is **** poor news and the fact that it is affecting you so much makes it many times worse.

The only way forward now is to take on board the lessons of the past weeks and make sure that you do everything possible to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Taking steps to protect yourself, your family and your prized possessions WILL make you feel better about what's happened. Strike while the iron's hot and FFS don't let these thieving vermin get away with doing it again.

sorry to hear this matey!! Its a horrible feeling being scared of having a nice car, I've only had my car 2 days and I'm already paranoid about where I leave it, where I drive, if anyone is following me home and then when I get home I moving all the families car's around to block mine in!! I can't believe how many stories I've heard recently about people getting there car's nicked and for some thug to just walk into someones home is a very scary thought!! What is the world coming too!?!?..

Sorry again!! Hope you get it sorted!!

Carla..

I feel for you mate, been there, got the t shirt, my missus still gets spookey at night if she hears a noise.

They tried my house twice when I had an RS Focus but the second time they didnt bank on us Getting a big f*ck Off German Shepherd to protect the house.
The Police actually took away the piece of Jeans material she had ripped from thier **** to do DNA tests on along with a swab of the blood on the garden path!!
Needless to say they didnt get the keys or come back again!

NO !

Bubba buy a ****y old scooby ( Sorry guys and gals, but there must be one out there somewhere), and weaken all the brakelines, MOT failure will do, just so it is fast enough to really hurt, alot when they crash it......

Three big black dogs and too many stairs for most scallies to bother....
