This fella has been trying to sell this car since August, he has had it advertised in detail on Scoobynet and Piston heads.
He's had lots of initial interest followed up by the usual no show's.
The problem with this site is its full of bargain hunters plus the **** has fallen out of the market for all classic Scoobies.
I should imagine Leecal is pretty pissed off with re'advertising it and cleaning it for people on here who have arranged to come and view it, then not have the decency to ring and say they can't make it.

Sorry m8, but that is rubbish!
The exact same thing was said 10 months ago, when I sold my WHITE sti 4.
Below is the advert, and as I have already said, it sold within a week.

Go figure.

Perhaps you sold your car easier because you live in an area with plenty of people surrounding it (Kent)
We live in a small town at the end of the A180, people genuinely seem interested until the penny drops and they see how far the drive will be to view it.
I've had some excellent cars that where well advertised in the past and I have always struggled to sell them on.
Dont call me m8

Just let Lee try and sell this car!!!
I had a look and a drive last week and liked it.
Straight bodywork and very clean interior. Really didnt look like it had done the mileage.
Drove like a dream (once i got slightly more used to the gearbox, very different from my Frontera).
Reason i didnt buy (and Lee knows this) - i am waiting on some others closer to me to arrive so i can see as many as possible.

To be honest i don't think there are many buyers on here with money in their pockets but there are plenty of messers who couldn't afford the insurance let alone the car i'm afraid.
Best of luck and bttt for you!!

My guy also travelled down from York with his wife and daughter the night before to pick it.
Do I win a prize???
I think that the influx of cheap imports and availability of early classics HAS affected the market. 5 Years ago, I had to travel big miles, just to find an ordinary STI. It was just luck that I got a Type R.
Good luck with the sale - Silver IS the best colour. Too may blue ones around.
