Bracknell - Time to meet again?
Hi Everybody!
I should be able to make this. It seems we are agreed on the 6th and the Crispin. I have never been to the Crispin. Where is is?
I could also be tempted to the rolling road event. I have an absolutely completely standard MY00. It would be nice to see how the real figures match the listed spec.
Cheers

Hi Dr Nick!!!
lol Can't help you with directions, but just for interests sake. I had my MY99 on PE rollers back in April last year after I bought it, totally standard and came out with 233bhp 221lb/ft. (first run was 242bhp tho
)
Its always good to have a totally standard car there as it gives a point of reference for all the others - and something for the 172 Clio to aspire to

Woohooo Dr Nick can make it!!!

The pub is on the main road out of Ascot towards Windsor/Windsor Great Park - you can't miss it as it's the only pub on that road!
It would be good to see what power your car registers on the rolling road day, and see if it matches what Subaru claim. If it does, then it will be a good baseline for the rest of us.
So how about the others????
Adrian will you be up for the rolling road?
I'd be interested to see what you get following your soon to be upgrade!

Awww...you lot have made me cry almost. haha. As you can imagine the last fews weeks have been a bit "odd" what with the impending divorce etc. I've decided that Xmas in Britain on me todd ain't attractive so I'm off to Aus for Xmas and New Year - should be fun!
I'm working until at least 9pm this Thursday, but following your kind words I'll do my best. Where is it anyway? It would be good to see you all, and the waitresses of course!

Ooops, ignoe my request for directions, just read 'em above!
Scott - Re the upgrade, its on hold at the moment as I've just had to sign up for a £206k mortgage to buy this place!
Oh yeah, I've only gone and kerbed a wheel haven't I - any tips on repairing it? Its not too bad, just a scuff really but it screams at me everyday!!

Scott - I still hope to get the Link, it'll just have to wait until I've sorted out the money side of things.
Not moving anywhere, buying her out so staying here...Spread the word, "eliglible batchelor with detached house looking for love". haha. Well, to be honest already fallen in love with the girl who was with me at the Peel Centre the last time I saw you...but thats another story (she's 21 and said she would actually come to the meets!)..actually the story about the 1st "post marital conquest" is more juicy, but for face to face, over 18yr old ears only!! hahaha. If I can get off early on Thursday, do you still want a lift? If so, where the hell are you? mail me?

Adrian - Karen and I did wonder about the "young"
female you were with at the Peel Centre. The Welsh Wonder certainly doesn't hang around does he?

It's OK about the passenger ride, as I only wanted to see what the Link would have been like. I'll have a lift once you get it done though!
Good news also on staying put, however, you cannot use the excuse of work all the time just to ignore us!!!!

Hey hey hey Adrian
Good to hear your getting things sorted and already started craddle snatching
lol!!!! Can't wait for the story (do I count as over 18
) lol.
Bummer about the alloy - you could sand it down with some very fine wet and dry and then buff it up or get it to a refinisher and it'll cost about 50 quid to sort........I take no responsibility for damaged caused through sandpaper - usual disclaimer and all that
Hope you can make it Thursday
If not have a great time upside down

Evening Gents - I'm still in work now so am likely to be until this time on Thursday. I will try to make it though, what time will you be there til? I'm still not sure about directions (is it the one by the peanut shaped roundabout hahaha). Directions from Coral Reef would be good. Gotta go now, got a bag of sweets so I'm off cruising outside schools!!
Scott - OK, thanks. I'll bell you about 9pm 'ish. Keep me a seat! Do they serve food past 9pm I wonder?? Actually I'll call before 9pm then if they don't serve grub late, could you get me something cold(and no gobbing in it!).
Its a fair way out of Reading isn't it? Got to be half an hour?

Hi,
Back from Nepal and I must say that I would never have a Scooby over there, the drivers are crazy.
I was going to meet you at these shops once (oh errh) before a meet, but I failed to show.
I should be on for this one, what time would you be meeting at the shops or even the Crispin for that matter?? Could you please let me know as I would like to have a listen to your Infinity setup as well as get to know the crowd.
I'll try and sort out some good pictures of Nepal, if people are interest, although I took them so they are probably pants.
I now have a pet dog, I'll bring him along.
Ian

Okey - we'll meet at Crown Wood shops around 7-7:15 and head off to the Crispin from there. Should get there for about 7:30-7:45.
Ian - see you at the shops? Yeah, bring the piccies, I'm sure there'll be interest - as long as its not one of them long slideshow type affairs - if ya know what I mean

Graham - Say we leave CW at 7:15, we'll be at yours just after in a convoy
lol!!!! Is that ok?
