getting confused myself now lol!!
has a uk300 got an sti engine or std wrx engine???
its either gonna be a uk300 or a jap STI
my understanding now is i can get a nice jap STI bug eye with 20k on the clock for 10 grand! that would be brilliant for me except insuring a jap car costs more!
as christmas is only a few weeks away im thinking of buying in the new year now so look out for my bug eye questions lol!
thanks all youve been a great help
your choice seems strange . either a uk 300 or jap sti. wheres the logic there then?
as for your question the uk 300 has the same engine as the wrx.
my advice is to look out for a uk sti prodrive edition in either black or blue(as they only came in these colours) with full history. i am a blob eye sti owner and was considering the bugeye but my budget increased.

strange how come?
havnt seen many UK sti prodrives for sale TBH infact i might of mist that all together! and is it poss to get one for ten grand? i will certainly do some research!
i narrowed it down to uk300 or jap sti as the uk300 looks very nice and shouldnt be too bad to insure but the jap STI will obviously go and handle better, another reason for thinking jap STI is i could get one with under 30 thousand miles for my budget!

any links to uk sti prodrive info and cars for sale then chaps
thanks again!
this lot isnt as straight forward as i thought lol!!
when i had a celica GT4 (st205) there was only two models to choose from l
i know a 60 thousand mile car will be as good as a 25 thousand mile car its just ive never owned a car of my own with under 30 thou !
are we talking one of these bob?
Auto Trader UK - Used Car Search - Used Cars for sale online..
the one at the bottom of the page!!
thanks again

Default scoob

u need to by a classic 2000 sti with the best milage you can and use the rest to tune or customise to make it stand out, just what i would do. I run a MY2000 uk turbo 2000 tuned up to round 300bhp now and I love it, could have bought a bug eye but IMO there ugly as hell. just my 2 pence
