hi to all that have posted supporting paul
i am sorry to say that paul has been told he will never walk again the damage to his spinal column is beyond repair, he has taken the news very well but has the battle of all battles to get a decent life, but he is lifted by all support he has received

Sorry to hear that there's been bad news Micky, it's an awful thing to be told, but atleast he's taking it well, but just look at other people who have been told they have no chance in walking again etc and they beat all odds, if Paul's positive he might be one of them

Sad to hear this, was hoping for better news.
Its just the start of a different phase of his life,there is a lot of help out there if required get as much info. as poss as the lack of knowledge can be a problem, my wife works in the rehabilitation sector pm me if you want any good web sites.

just read the bad news. i am so sorry for you, and even feel angered regarding the driver of the vehicle and accident which did this terrible thing to him...
i know its not much of a consolation but il do my bit to help. tell your son paul that if he finds a good piccy of a scoob he likes, to send it to me and il draw him a decent sized A3 piccy free of charge that id usually charge anything upto £40 onwards for. ive done some already for people on here and would put 110% into this one as this awful situation has touched me mate. as said not much consolation but more of a goodwill gesture, not charity etc... if interested please pm me, more than happy to help!!
