Hi Mick : Sorry to here this but your lad is young and if he is positive he may make a good recovery.
When he is mobile you are welcome to bring him over to Darlington for a poke about under the bonnet of several wagons and we can go for a drive in one of them. I will pm my phone number.
Good luck.

Sorry to hear your news, as a firefighter i have the miss fortune to witness all manner of tragedies, out of all of them it has taught me alot. But most importantly, never look back to what might have been only look forward to what can be.

Post update on paul

thanks to everyone that has posted their support paul is very happy at the support and some of the offers he has recieved, drive past the hospital etc
update on the accident paul was in the rear of the corsa going to work on monday morning the driver was speeding and drink and drugs were present but i dont know at what level, this car hit the kerb some fifty metres up the road hit the other kerb rolled over several times though a fence and into a stream into 18 inches of water landing on its roof paul nearly drowned
his recovery is going to be very long up to about two years, the docter has not said he will never walk again but that it is the likely outcome, but paul is a very determined young man and with all the support from family and freinds and the members of scoobynet he will achieve his goals

best wishes to everyone who has supported paul and to all who have sent pm s we will reply

paul and mick and gill jefferson

Thumbs up

Every parent's nightmare. I have one driving (like a lunatic) and one learning. I can't ever rest until they're in.

Hope all goes well for you Paul, keep smiling.
