Evo comes on at about 2-2.25 and has slightly shorter gearing I think.
I find the Scoob more tractable and less shuffling of the box to keep it at speed in the corners.
Much easier to drive. Not as hard work as the Evo

You are spot on with the boost curves, spec-c starts winding up at 2200 and is being held back by the boost controller by 2900.
Lovely cars, it's annoying playing with them everyday but not being able to afford one!

What's the big difference between the t25 (original) and t20 in the way they drive. I assume it's low down and mid range response?
There doesn't seem to be alot of power differnce between them

Hi Callum
I'm glad you're enjoying your new car. I have nothing but praise for these cars; Litchfield’s and PowerStation have come up with a fantastic and well thought out package.
I did my 1000 miles in one week dead, but I didn't waste any money using any decent fuel until the last complete fill up. Obviously it comes with a rather safe base map to get you going and only the mechanically illiterate out there are going to thrash a £32k motor from new.
Of course there are other cars out there with bigger bhp/torque numbers, but it’s the way that the T20 delivers this that makes it a truly rapid mode of transport in the real world.
Have fun with your new toy.

Were you the guy at powerstation I spoke to when I was looking for Ian?
As you may know - does the JDM/Spec-C have the variable valve timing on it like the UK 2.5l?

It's over 400 lb/ft from 4K rom onwards (I think) .... proper fat dollop of it too
The T20 slightly more revvy, but nowhere near as bad as the UK car (plus it'll rev to 8k rpm - the UK car revs to 7k)

Your post on your car (feb 06) was great insight to Litchfield and the Type20 and one of the all time best posts in ScoobyNet BB
P.S. Saw your car at Trax while mine was in the middle of the ocean coming over... was looking sweet with it's grubby wheels (brakedust )

Hope you feel as proud of it as I feel jealous of you for having it.

I've worked damn long and hard to get it. Sadly I'm still working hard and won't really be able to relax and enjoy it until after the new year, but that's the way it goes.
Gotta work hard to get the car, but working too hard to ge to enjoy it
I feel a holiday coming on
FYI - my last car I had for 10 years and was a semi-track prepped Sierra. Hopefully this car will last the distance like the sierra did.
.... which is for sale by the way - £600
Perfect for winter driving or hooning on a track or getting the shopping.
Great all rounder with all the right bits done to it

I could ask you tech questions all day, but you're not on the clock so it's not fair when you're on personal chillout time
