I smoke. Not many (4 a day in the week and 2million at weekends when drinking booze). I never crave a cig, I simply enjoy it...

When the pub ban comes in and I have to stand outside I will make friends with people I have never spoken to before... I will also poo in the pub loos and not flush in order to get my revenge for the nights when it is raining

I really can't be ar$ed with the 'smell like an ashtray brigade'...Maybe I do, but I can pop a mint in my mouth, febreeze my sleeve and smell nice again... You'll always be fugly...Aint no sweet gonna change that, fatty...

I get to look after people like this every day of my working life: caused by smoking!

But there are some treatments, so no need to worry:

And you can have your tea through one of these, every day for the rest of your life...........................mmmmmmmm

Smoking? nah, you can keep it

I had been a smoker for 17 years smoking on average 10-15 a day. My dad had a massive heart attack at the beginning of October in America. He has smoked for the last 54 years and has now had to give up. I went out to see them on the 10th October and smoked my last cigarette at Heathrow. On the fourth day of being there i realised i had not had a cigarette and had not even noticed. When i left Miami we made a pact at the airport never to smoke again. I can't believe i did not do this sooner, i have so far found it easy using will power alone. I know i will never break my promise to my dad so i will hopefully remain a non smoker.

What? You think that's something to be proud of? You are a thick idiot for starting in the first place, but then we knew that already.

Banned up here since March this year and it's fantastic (sorry Tam ) You can spend the whole night in the pub/restaurant/club and come home and go to bed without having a shower at 2am to get rid of the smell

I'm sure you can appreciate that my posts which are addressed to hectic aren't for your benefit, so I suggest if you find them tiresome you toddle off elsewhere Einstein Retard. Go on, shoo!

The pubs have never been busier in Scotland since the smoking ban came into force. This is in contradiction to the propaganda put out by the licensed trade. They argued that the pub business would be decimated as a result of the smoking ban. What they failed to comprehend was that the majority of the population are non smokers, and didn't go out because of the vile stench.

Except of course, all your mates will be outside, so you can either sit inside on your own, or join them outside under the infra red heated umbrellas that most pubs are putting up. Then of course the whingers will want smoking outside banned as they have to keep sitting outside with their smoking mates

Thankfully I kicked it when I was in hospital after falling off the roof!

As well as the obvious health advantages the amount of extra money I have recouped which would have just been burned away is quite amazing.

I smoke but agree that they should ban people from smoking inside pubs etc. Its a filthy habit and gives far to much money to the polish economy and we do enough to help that already.

I smoked for over 10 years, but I can up gave up after using the Allen Carr Clinic, it was the best £200 I spent.

I've not smoked at all since.

We all know the reasons why we shouldn't smoke (like the pictures above) but we still carried on smoking. Allen Carr tackles the reasons why we do smoke.

Eeew all those piccies That may frighten some but in my 32 years on this planet all the people I know who have had cancer never smoked (and its into double figures).. So based on my evidence, smoking actually prevents cancer as it has a 100% cancer free success rate...
If this kind of survey works for laboritoir Garnier and Loreal, it works for me

look at the people in the pictures though, they look like degenerates in the 1st place. I don't know whats wrong with you, everyone knows smoking makes you look cool.

As for the smell, some people like the smokey effect.

As the majority of the country do not smoke then you should have more mates that don't smoke than mates that do.
Out of our crowd of around 20 that go out only a few smoke.
If all your mates smoke then perhaps you need more intelligent mates.

Cheers

None of my mates smoke, so we'll all be nice and toasty inside, laughing at the losers in the car park desparately trying to look cool.

Hello

My Mother smoked and I never have as although she didn't smoke in front of me I still remember the lingering smell of smoke. Yuck.

She had a heart attack which was partly put down tot he smoking and she gave up after she came out from hospital. That was 15 years ago and she hasn't had one since.
