You're spinning so fast your in danger of falling over! I'm not "clinging" to anything, its plain to see that Top Gear is returning. You can't accept that because it doest fall into your "auntie beed/nanny state/NL" diatribe.

Stop selectively quoting to back up your failing and flawed arguments, and accept the fact that Top Gear is back.

Can we stop posting about the rodent, I think the outpouring of grief over Diana was easier to bare than the **** we've had to endure with Hammond.....

So you do accept that it has been axed then. LOL In that case you agree with what I have been saying all along.

They may eventually be forced to 'unaxe' Top Gear due to sustained public pressure, but they have certainly made a determined effort to exploit Hammond's misfortune by removing it from our screens and then attempting to replace it with content they would prefer us to be subjected to (disabled 'heroes' crossing the desert in wheelchairs for example, and archive of Hamster hosting nice harmless 'nerd' competitions that nobody watched first time round) In other words, it's hardly me that has an agenda.

When I see the closing credits of the first programme to confirm it has returned in it's original form, and not some watered down replica of previous series then I'll accept it's back.

For now though, that day is as far away as ever.

There is a difference between "axed" and postponed! Look it up in the dictionary if you're unsure!! I've not seen a an article any where to say its been "axed".

Never said that. I said returning. Thats returning as in, returning for a new series. More spin.

They cant "unaxe" it, as it was never axed. The only person who ever said it was axed is you. Again, more spin.

And if you think we'll ever see it back it in orginal form, your plainly nuts.
William Woolard, Tony Mason and Chris Goffey co are clearly past it, and in some cases dead.

Are we dizzy enough yet, or do you want some more?

But it is currently axed - or 'postponed indefinitely' to quote the BBC. You can be as pedantic as you like, but it means the same thing.

And if you think we'll ever see it back it in orginal form, your plainly nuts.

More 'pedantisms'. I don't think it's me who's 'plainly nuts' We all know that resorting to pedandic remarks is akin to thowing in the towel, because you've run out of ideas...

Are we dizzy enough yet, or do you want some more?

One does hope so. However reading the comments above he'll probably whinge when it's back on saying it's watered down, or find some other get out clause to use rather than admit that he might have been wrong, and as I've said before, hopefully choke on the whole, rather large, humble pie he should eat.

Strange that if you look on this page on the same website

Top Gear | Top Gear on BBC Two

It states clearly:

"Top Gear is currently off air - and dates for the new series are yet to be confirmed. "

Therefore this January date and time is still only speculation on the part of the optimistic and was probably fictitiously add by some ambitious hack based on hear say.

Wrong '*****' - Did you actually hear them say it? Did they say it in chorus as a three part harmony perhaps, or just take it in turns to speak one word after the other maybe in a rap stylee?

Or do you just take everything you read as gospel?

UB, in your opinion, do you think that a new series Top Gear will be on our screens in January?

Simple yes or no will suffice. Like, NL I bet I don't get a simple yes/no though
