No wonder you were overtaken by the WRX - You were watching the totty in the rear view mirror.
Enjoy it everyone....
"Wish I was there" - hey ho - never mind, I'll just have to make do with the "EvoTriangleRing"

A few quick questions!
Why does the actual track part sometimes have cars backed up along it? Is this what happens after a crash?
I thought you were only allowed to do a lap at a time but I guess you can go straight through?
Wish I was there to answer these questions myself!
Edited to add "Should have read page 4 of this thread first so as not to repeat questions already asked!!! "

Yes, much faster this year. Approx 10mins last year and this year down into the early/mid 9mins - well pleased. Top speed is also higher, touching about 135 in some places. I think the car can easily do a sub 9min, but not with its current driver
They have a new ticket machine on the circuit now, so you do not have to come off and go back on - which is much easier. Queues are just a fact of life there, as is the difficulty finding a parking space in the rather small carparks.

Well done on the times, thats a significant improvement. Any particular areas where you feel youre better, or are you just quicker in general?
Is your light taped from an incident or does it hark back to the sheep abuse?

Another top SMACS day at the ring.
The day started damp which slowed everything down a bit - but not for long.
I had a few passenger rides that were very noteable, one in the Exige (proving my prediction that it would be the fastest car in the group) and another in a bog standard WRX which was driven by a guy with more skill behind the wheel than any other person I have ever sat with. Breath taking was not the word.
Yes, saw the Porsche incident (or aftermath anyway) why do you ask?
Damage was sustained on the motorway on the drive down - large lump of flying wood the cause.
Gav, I already have the spot covers - so not you cannot have them

Register on here http://www.touristenfahrerforum.de/forum/ and search the foto's section. You need to register (in your real name) to see the section though, and its all in german.....If I can manage it anyone can

There were lots of crashes, some minor and some very serious - air ambulance called etc. see http://impreza.fotopic.net/p34692542.html for an example.
