Well.....got my car back from having the intercooler fitted, along with a walbro fuel pump, uprated exedy clutch, and a'pexi induction kit.

The work was done by Bob at Bob Robertson's garage in Galashiels - and I'm really chuffed with everything. The pipework was a bit pants, and had to be heated and bent into shape, but that aside, and especially for the £189 the intercooler kit cost, it's a good bit of kit.

Came across a set of Rays/STI wheels recently so had them fitted with some new tyres at the same time as the other work:



Recently fitted a Zero-Sports sports cat downpipe and a Blitz NUR Spec RX (quiet version of NUR Spec R), and it's booked in at Andy Forrest's on the 25th to have an A'pexi ECU fitted and mapped....can't wait!

 

got mine today, big surprise as i haven't been on here for a while and thought this had ended, big shout out to kips for all his hard work on this gb......

If yours is the early classic you may need to get a four inch silicon hose with a internal of 63mm bren at apex got mine for me youl also need two extra clamps if you look at the guide this will explain all also you will need some pipe for whatever dv you are using, have you thought about some heat wrap for the pipe that goes over the turboim running a g/b on wrap and turbo covers in group buys.
Once all fitted up a remap will be needed to get the best out of the intercooler if you have any question ask on my fitting guide thread as this may also help others in the fitting
