I think Subaru should be thinking about a saloon version, fingers crossed eh?

not exactly to my liking but what choice do we really have if its to change, it will eventually grow on u. there are some high points the front is some what aggressive even though i'd want a more menacing looking bumper not ricer of course but just serious. sits pretty low as well

If Subaru keep the Impreza as is and still compete in the WRC they may as well pull out. They've needed to redesign in order to be competitive against the Ford, Peugeot, Citreon etc hot hatches as unfortunately that's the style which is making the biggest impact.
I don't mind the new look, however it has lost the Impreza feel to it. Hopefully they rebadge it and leave the Impreza to the saloon/wagon shape it is at the moment.

I just don't what they are thinking of, I think the Subaru impreza cult will die with this one, the front doesn't look too bad but from the back it looks like its straight off the cover of 'max power'
I'm sure it will appeal to the lacoste trainer wearing Burberry boys, but personally as soon as you start having a few wrinkles in your face you would look funking stupid driving one of these and lets face it, they couldn't afford to buy, run or insure one of these unless mummy and daddy have got some serious dollar.
At least the current saloon version while still being a bit boy racer, appeals to the slightly older generation because its a four door saloon.
RIP Subaru Impreza as far as I can see.
I'm sure if Citroen tried to sell a road version of its rally car with all the grills spills and spoilers - it wouldn't sell because on the road it would look ridiculous, in the same way a Audi or MBW touring car would look rediculaous on the road with those stupid rear spoliers.

I'm just wondering how hard it would be to setup a company importing new B4 Blitzens
Because it's obvious I.M don't have the intiative to import any, and if they did it, would be silly money anyway

The new EVO just looks soooo mean and Subaru will have to come up trumps to beat it. WRC cars always look so much better than the road car with extended wings, low stance and huge wheels so it will be interesting to see if it is a hatch. IMO that market is already stifled with Astra, Golf and the new minging Civic.
It pisses me off how often they bring out a another facelift etc and I don't think recent attempts are any improvement. The best looking Scooby was the 22B by far IMO. It just mirrored the rally car perfectly which I think many Scooby enthusiasts desire.

I saw these pictures a while back and have to say that I actually dribbled. Those pics (photochop or whatever) take the god awful lump of coal current design and turn it in to a diamond IMO. I find that the bog standard one makes me see a love child of the Astra VXR and a Seat Leon tbh.
