Almost had a "Doh" moment this morning. Driving in from the M40, past the police HQ near the roundabout, when I spot a copper stood facing up the road, holding something.

As I trundle past (in the Fabia vRS) I see he's got a speed gun... so I immediately consider flashing motorists coming the other way, by way of a warning.

I then see a black Impreza approaching and think "I know I'm not in the Scoob, but I can flash him anyway" but something inside me tells me not to...

Very good move - black Sti is only the fecking unmarked one from around here! Phew!

Not sure what they were doing - perhaps testing if the gun works?

Maybe checking if their calibrated speedo is accurate?

I think I might have waved to this one

And he didn't wave back

I almost ran the copper's feet over as I was keeping to the left to avoid those f**king stupid speed ripples which extend across the whole road

Might flash them next time in the scoob with the PIAAs on... blind the ******

I see this black cop car quite abit. Normally a fat guy driving it, just smirked when i waved at him not knowing he was a ****..i mean cop
Then a few days later over the Xmas holiday he was in the car park opposite Homebase on the Emscote road, waiting for speeding motorists. I slowed down to about 25 and put it in 2nd, at which point i got a massive pop from the exhaust Think he probably thought id taken a shot at him
Needless to say he didnt look amused!

Hi All - New to Scoobynet - I have Silver Bug Eye 2001 JDM WRX - Black WRC livery - Thanks for all the waves/Lights when cruising around Leamington/Warwick.
Anyone recommend a good in duction kit? - I already run Grp N Pannel filter - Did try a Cone filter but seemed to cause a flat spot mid rev range.
Cheers AC

Join the club...I have a 2002 wrx sti prodrive ltd, mapped by Bob Rawle, filter from API and a home made induction kit.

See Mark28 for a reference...it's a flyer! I have a WRC style front spoiler with an alloy cone collecting air in the front running into the wing air box, just binned the res box from under the wing. See my car on Etheridge-bird hill climb thread for pictures. Dont need anything else, the cone killed the power, too much heat from the engine bay.
