Erm... you've far to many cars and that isn't permissable I'm afraid. I'll have to take the Evo 8 from you as punishment. You can hand me the keys at the meet!

Simple Mark, get a bigger garage!!!
I 'think' i'd go for the scoob, (sorry John) the scoob seems to have a little more character somehow...... having driven John's Evo, it just goes too well, i'm sure you'll have driven Glens by now, and you more than likely know what i mean by that...... where-as with the scoob, i suspect you'd get more out of putting more effort into the drvining if that makes sense.......
I bet you're not sleeping very well with this decision hanging over you eh.......

Hmm thats a tough decision...
I'd probably go with the Evo as it's more discrete, but STi's in white are .
They're both out of warranty so I'd get the car that has been modded in the best way, has the Evo had an Ecutek remap? and does the STi have knocking struts?

Evo Evo Evo Evo EVo Evo, no, seriously RONs right, I think the STi has a bit more character, but I wouldn't be too disappointed having either sat in my garage. Both have their own respective up and down sides. Would I go back to a scoob? yes, I would, but it would need to be a '07 SpecC in, you guessed it, White.

Tough choice, I really like the Sti 9's.
If the Evo is running 370 I would expect it would have been Ecutek'd for that sorr of power and be running around 1.45 bar which seems to be the general rule of thumb with the odd mods here and there. Hmm if you get that one then that will make quite a trio what with Jon's and Glens all running 370ish. I feel a little left out with only 300 bhp
Tough choice really. But what a choice to have

Ron - many sleepless nights!
Glen - you're not helping me
The 370 bhp one is going to be too pricey. He wants over 16k which I cant really afford. It had Ecutek etc. The black one below was on the list, but again he wants 16k minimum.
The scoob looks like this:
It has twin scrolls, DCCD and 350 bhp

I think you're right Paul, neither will disappoint. Its amazing how different they are though given they are the same in principle!
We shall see Hopefully there will be no hiccups with mine going tomorrow.

I asked the question on the S2000 forum and it was about 70% for the evo there too!
Guess I will know after seeing it in the flesh and having a drive of it.
Looks nice Jacey. Did you have an EVO?

Jacey boy the Evo FQ 300 would have felt lethagic due to the ****e stock exhaust system, even the MR FQ 320's stock HKS drager is abit lacking in flow rates and I found the same with mine. Whack on a Nurspec (theres the noise mmm) and the top end is fine. I found it weird going from my ITR which revved to high heaven to something that felt stifled. As I say the Blitz system has helped that, not sure what its like on the dyno mind you.
Mark not sure why you are asking a bunch of hairdressers lol what do they know eh.... lol
What I would worry about though is whether the Scoob will handle the 350bhp if on limited mods? What are the mods? I dont know much history on the newer engines but I thought the older ones could be abit iffy if pushed too far? The 8 running 370bhp should be reliable as long as the Ecutek has been mapped well. Any ideas who did the mapping, and what mods have been done to get this claimed 370bhp? Where was it dynoed?
Depends if you want the fastest car or the nicest looking car I reckon.

The evo Mark's reffering to was mapped by 'the dentist', Paul
